Edward's Work...and Growth

Edward and I spent an afternoon at the Museum of Natural History, in the winter of 2007. He needed more 'life' drawings for his portfolio. We sat together and drew with pencil, this lion (bottom image) on the second floor of the museum. I love the drawing he did. We even made stamps out of the image. However, he was home this weekend from Boston and he showed me this pencil drawing he recently competed of another lion (top image). I must say, I believe he has really grown as an artist!!!
Thrilled for him...more to come!

Peach Pearl

Peach colored freshwater pearls surround this light colorado topaz Swarovski crystal, separated by 2 gold vermeil nuggets. The crystal is 16mm or 1/2". A 4mm Swarovski bi-cone accents these gorgeous earrings. All delicately hung on a gold filled chain from a 5 loop gold tone connector. With the 22K gold filled hooks the length is 2" 3/4 long. Very, very feminine! These one of a kind earrings can be found in my Etsy shop.

Contemporary Baroque

These earrings are FUN....they move freely and are a great accent to any summer outfit! Hanging from this gold vermeil hoop, 5/8" ( a hair smaller than the size of an American quarter) in diameter is a stunning, light colorado (top) and amethyst (bottom) Swarovski 16 x11 mm Baroque cut crystal, accented with 2 gold vermeil nuggets sandwiching a 4mm bi-cone Swarovski crystal. Contemporary, light in weight, 2" in length with the 14K gold filled hook. They are $35 each. Check these beauties out, and more in my Etsy shop!

Even After a Month of RAIN....

Amazing that anything has grown with ALL the rain we've had, but the basil, flat leaf parsley and the oregano are all flourishing and the tomatoes are popping. I bought 30, 6 foot tall bamboo sticks (very inexpensive, a 10 pack for $2!!!!) so the tomatoes can kiss the sun....more to come!
