With a background in Fine Arts, my eye is well trained to notice the smallest of details. Photography is a passion. With the advent of the digital age, I use that same trained eye through the monitor of my digital camera, from macro shots to sweeping landscapes while enjoying the full range of editing.

It's beautiful.. It is good to have wordless Wednesday in our blog.. where we don't have to write anything.. pic does all the work..
Alas, my hydrangeas are suffering from the drought this year. We've gotten a bit of rain this week, so I'm hoping they rally, but I'm sure they won't be as pretty as this bloom.
I will just have to enjoy your photo all the more.
what beautiful hydrangeas. happy WW
hello Atniz...I do enjoy Wordless Wednesday as well...and yes, it is our hope that the picture really does do all the work!!
Oh Margaret...I am sorry about your hydrangeas...I see that mine will wilt quickly w/out water...it's only a couple of years old, so, it's still kind of small, vs. hostas which have become HUGE, and are much heartier...yes, enjoy, enjoy...
Thank you wildcats...glad that you like!!!...and a happy WW to you as well!!!

Beautiful photographs, as I have come to expect from this site. Please don't rate this comment...It's meant to be almost wordless. ;)

HELLO KIM!!!...welcome back...hope you had a productive week off-line!!!
Those hydrangeas are macros, still in the 'I'm getting ready to pop' stage...now, they are fully bloomed, purple and on their way out, until next year!!!
thanks Amy...
time went very slowly ...believe it or not :)
durr....I am such a non gardener !!
thank goodness I don't have a garden to look after :)
I've been scrolling through your flower shots....LOVE them!
KIm, I have met people around here who know the Latin names of the flowers, trees and shrubs...I am happy to know that if I plant something and water it, chances are, it will grow. I have picked up a few things along the way and I do enjoy it, the growing part, and in some cases, the eating part, but I try to keep it light...no Latin for me!
Well thank you good n crazy!!! I appreciate your taking the time for a look/see!
