Cards, Cards, Cards!!!

I'm not sure why, but for years, the idea of making cards has just not been something that I wanted to do. The pieces just never seemed to come together, too much work, too tedious, HOW and WHAT could I possibly put on cards that someone would actually want to buy? Then it happened. A lovely lady named Marie, who has an Etsy Shop called ModFarmgirl, asked if I could make cards of, get ready, THE DAIRY COWS!!! Our 'Gal' cow had struck a cord. So I said, sure, if you want me to make cards of the cows, I'll do it. Well, I am so pleased with the results that I have bought quality Solar White card stock (of course, with envelops to match), and have decided that ANYTHING GOES in my Esty Shop, Lilleypics. Your pick of any 2 photos, or one photo, 6 cards in all for $15. I am going to play around with the artwork that you see posted on this blog and hopefully, put those in the Shop as well. For the first 3 people who buy cards, I'll give you 2 cards, of your choice, absolutely FREE! Check out my Shop for the details.

Thank you Kim...I've been giving some of the photos as gifts, 5x7's, w/ a white matte and a simple black frame...people have been a-gog...so, I figured that the plain white border would work for framing these as well (if people choose to)..I have even met the owner of the Dairy Farm...will be sending him our 'Gal' as well...he got a good giggle out of the whole thing!

Love them, that top one especially! I have to agree with Kim about the plain white border; it is perfect on these. I've resisted doing cards too, but now you're giving me second thoughts!

Good morning Jennifer...w/ all of your beautiful photos, you have a wealth of cards, just waiting to be made...I've decided that I will no longer be buying pretty stationary @ Papyrus, but making my own!!!

Heather, I have to say, that I have had you in mind while thinking about putting the artwork on cards as well...if they photograph well, and look good on the blog, then, in theory I should be able to get good copies made..I will be playing next week and I will keep you POSTED...lol

Miss Deb, what can I say???...be on the lookout...and hold those good thoughts!!!
