Hearts!!

It's a sweet day, Valentine's Day. There's the sentiment of love between two people. Sometimes there's chocolate involved, there is the possibility of roses or even diamonds. I offer you 'Bleeding Hearts'. A beautiful tiny 'flower' which grows oh so delicately on a vine. I have cards, framed 5x7's or 5x7's which you can frame with your personal choice. Check them out in my Etsy shop. Oh, the endless romantic....click on the photos for more info!

Triz, I had not seen them before this past summer...they are tiny, tiny and grow on a vine...they grow in white as well...like beautiful lanterns...yes?

KIM!!! You're back...I've been thinking of you all afternoon today...wow, moving always presents unexpected events, like computers blowing up...hope you are all settling in and back w/ us on-line...Mom loved, loved, loved the collages...she can't see very well, but she has a great 'gadget', not unlike a computer screen which magnifies everything greatly, so we poured over both boards so she could really see...she was very appreciative of the work that went into them...got to love her for that...I'll pass along your good wishes to her...big hugs...you've been missed...:)))))

Oh! I love bleeding hearts! It's too dang hot in TX to grow them.

Amy Lilley Designs said...

Deronda...I must try growing them this Spring...the climate is good for them in RI...these were from the garden of a friend!!!...maybe white as well!

Lynn, you're so right...they would just wilt in Texas...way too delicate for that kind of heat!!!

Oh these are beautiful Amy. I fell in love with them when we lived in Maine.

They are natural to that state and grow wild everywhere.

I am back blogging. I just missed everyone way too too much.

I have added you back to my favorites so I can visit and not miss any goodies!!
Hugs,
jackie

Hi Amy. You´re right, living and learning.
I never saw any bleeding hearts here and I´m not sure if we have them in Portugal.
I´m a gardening fan but I also have a lot to learn.
Good Wednesday!

I had some of those growing in my front yard, until my fiance and my silly cousin chopped them down by accident (with a machete.) I ask him to go get a weed whacker and he comes home with a freaking machete and goes all Madagascar on the yard.

Thank you jinx!!!

Z, this is by far the funniest comment I have ever read...I have to put it someplace where I can refer to it when I need a good laugh...and, um, sorry about your Bleeding Hearts..:(((
