Even After a Month of RAIN....

Amazing that anything has grown with ALL the rain we've had, but the basil, flat leaf parsley and the oregano are all flourishing and the tomatoes are popping. I bought 30, 6 foot tall bamboo sticks (very inexpensive, a 10 pack for $2!!!!) so the tomatoes can kiss the sun....more to come!

Wow, I can't get my basil and rosemary to survive let alone thrive. Maybe I should just water them more given your success with lots of rain.

Jimmy and I are on 'beach week' this week...yesterday was BANNER...but, more rain today...may not make it back until Thurs. or Fri...

I'm going to have a ton of tomatoes...that's lots of frozen sauce for the winter!!!

On a Whimsey, the oregano is amazing..it flowers!!!..I've been using the basil often and the parsley landed on some fresh caught red snapper last night...fun!!

Thank you BK...always a learning curve...but, for early July, so far, so good...more rain today...:((

Caddy...looks like rain really helps, but, I'm still curious to see a difference w/ more than one or two days of full sun AND water!!!...good luck w/ your herbs!!!

It's been weird hearing about you guys getting so much rain. Normally that would be us here on the West Coast in Vancouver BC. We apparently have been getting all your weather cause we're in the middle of a heat wave. No rain. Breaking temp records. Very strange!
