Beginning to harvest...sweet basil, lemon basil & curly leaf basil....

I hope you are having a good week Amy. I came in from shopping, sat down with a glass of ice tea and proceeded to fall asleep.

That was around 2pm. I am so far behind I am truly considering just going back to bed!!

The basil freezes really well, so, I bag them, squeeze all the air out, and prayerfully, this harvest, which I've just started will take us straight to next summer. I'm growing oregano, which dries beautifully, even the little flowers are dried and added to the bunch...it's extremely fragrant and amazing in sauces...and the flat leaf parsley, also freezes really well...so, I'm just getting started.
