With a background in Fine Arts, my eye is well trained to notice the smallest of details. Photography is a passion. With the advent of the digital age, I use that same trained eye through the monitor of my digital camera, from macro shots to sweeping landscapes while enjoying the full range of editing.

wow Amy
what an incredible perspective!!!
I love the colour harmony and composition...
however did you manage to photgraph this ???
do you have a hang glider ??? lol
Great perspective and composition...so WW du jour?? Unusual architecture from a strange perspective....well, something like that, as I did the same thing today.
Hey Kim and Karen...here's what I said about the pic in my Etsy shop:
'Outdoor space, when living in New York City is a gift. My cousin lives on the 19th floor in an apartment with a sizable balcony. People have taken beautiful photos of the great views she has, so, I wanted something different. I looked down and there was this brick red church, tucked away between a school and another building. I love the way it came out, and the best part is that it could be ANYWHERE! Would you have thought that this was NYC if I had not told you?'
Kim used my digital camera, as always...and look, 19 FLOORS DOWN...IT WORKED!!!...amazing...
Karen, a VERY interesting shot indeed...is it on the camp grounds?? wonderful...
Wow! I love taking building shots too.
This is a nice one.
Happy weekends yeah!
What a great shot Amy...I like unique shots like this from a surprising and unusual angle!!!
Wonderful colors...that must be some view your cousin has!
Cheers
Oh my Amy! This is incredible, right down to the presentation!!
I am in awe! The perspective is incredible!

Goodness don't know how to pick the three. Just surprise me. If it helps, the Blue Iris is for Ms.PickyProf and the Gerba is for our Ms. Busy Nurse!!
Oh I'm excited now. Post should go up at midnight!
Hugs:-)
I am so glad you thought it was okay Amy. I haven't heard from Karen but I hope she likes it too.
Wow, it was so dark here yesterday that I used two bright lights and a mirror to get enough light to even capture one decent shot of those boxes!!
Have a great day!!
Jackie
P.S. I don;t post again until Friday at midnight. So you will be up for two days!!:-)))))
Wonderful Jackie, many thanks...I am going to send you the 3, because you were the 'first', and another 2 for the 2nd order...also, I'm packaging them as a whole, so you can see them, and distribute and wrap as you please...excited for you...will ship tomorrow!!!!
Hope it's been a great day for you too..:)))))
Thank you Yoon See...I don't shoot alot of buildings, but this one was a little gem tucked away which, happily, caught my eye!!
Heather, yes, hanging over a balcony, 19 floors up...LOL...my cousin has great views and she's a GARDENER, so we have so much to talk about...it's amazing what she has been able to do w/ the space...I just sent her some rocks from the beach I collected, specifically for her, to put on the balcony...thank you...so glad you like...:)))
I’m glad I read this. I rarely reply to peoples comments…not because I don’t like them…but because I thought it was self-serving.
Thank you
