IT'S TOO DARN HOT!!!

It's simply too hot outside...normally, we would be running to the beach, or even to our old neighbors delicious pool, but it's just too darn hot. My tolerance to deal with it, is running very low. The AC feels good, I've got plenty of food. Last night I made a fabulous whole wheat pasta dish w/ all the ingredients from the garden...it will see a repeat performance tonight. It's just too darn hot!!

Beadwright, you can have it, but you'd better grab it while it lasts; it'll be cooling back down come Monday. Our "summers" are about 2 weeks long up here, and even if we get a nice, balmy, 72 degree day here and there the rest of the season, it's still cold enough at night for flannel sheets and a blanket!

Amy, I don't usually like the heat at all, but after what seemed like about 9 months of winter, I'm actually enjoying the warmth (but then, our "heat wave" pales in comparison to yours!)

Nicole, your 52 degrees sounds lovely right now...this heat has been going on for 3 weeks and yesterday was one of the worst days...the air quality was so bad...a storm rolled in about 5ish, which was great, but we're in for more of the same today...anywho, ENJOY your day!!

Jennie, we feel the same way around here...yes, your winters are definitely longer, but we live for the summers...however, this is about to be the hottest July on record...BTW, dinner last night was excellent..took some pics...LOL!!!

It's not super hot here...just super muggy! Like 90% humidity and the dew point is high (mid 70's), so you just can't cool down from the damp heat. We don't have air conditioning, so we have to rely on the pool!

Lisa, super muggy is no picnic either...thankfully, you have the pool...best place to be...it's still 90 degrees @ 4 in the afternoon...we stopped by our old neighbors pool to see who was @ the 'local watering hole', and they were waiting for their youngest son and his entire baseball team, siblings and parents to arrive...I'll wait until tomorrow...we did, fortunately run alot of errands...ENJOY that pool!!!!

Thank you Polly...I too, love this swan...the families usually stick close to a couple of our local coves giving all of us a chance to get 'up close' and a little personal...:))

I feel blessed to have AC. Thinking of the upcoming weather in the fall and winter as I am inside creating new stuff.
Beautiful Swan!
