Happy Dragonfly

Isn't is a wonder, when you can step outside, into your own garden and continually find treasures, daily reminders of the seasons of life. I was outside watering some of the lilies by the side of the house, and this dragonfly was hopping from lily top to lily top. I raced inside to get my camera, hoping not to miss the moment, and sure enough, with what seems to be a big smile, camera ready, this dragonfly stayed long enough for me to get this one good picture. He/she was a happy dragonfly, and I was a happy 'Lilley'!

Perfect! It's colors are just incredible. We saw a dragonfly in our yard today when we were finished building fairy houses, and you know what they say about dragonflies and fairies!

Deb, I can't wait to see what you came up w/ for the dragonflies, and Jennifer, no, sadly, I don't know what they say about dragonflies and fairies...you must tell me..lol!!!!

This is an incredible shot--a remarkable capture! I'm surprised you were able to compose it before the smiling dragonfly flitted away!
