This is a portrait of my maternal Grandfather. My brother and I called him 'Poppy'. This was drawn from a photo of him when he was well into his 80's. He was the kindest man and we all adored him. He's been gone for a long time now, but I know I can speak for my family when I say that we still miss him like crazy.
