With a background in Fine Arts, my eye is well trained to notice the smallest of details. Photography is a passion. With the advent of the digital age, I use that same trained eye through the monitor of my digital camera, from macro shots to sweeping landscapes while enjoying the full range of editing.

Thank you Kim...hard to believe it's almost 5 years now...and it hits me @ the oddest times...she was quite the sassy gal...she took my childhood/teenage secrets w/ her...a big chunk of me...but, she is w/ me in spirit and I have a good relationship w/ her son, who is alot like her...it's a great connection for both of us...the beach continues to give and give and give...
Thank you Muse...she would be proud...I'm certain...and I will continue to blog my heart out!

Yes, Amy's memory does live on...her son was only 14 @ the time and now almost 5 years later, her young man and I have had some very long talks which he was ready for @ the age of 19...a very special connection to her, thru one another...he loved the post!
Hi Amy,
Congratulations on this milestone!
Sorry to hear about your best friend, and the reminder that the photo brings links the post back to your early childhood days. It must be a tremendous loss for you.
I'm very sorry for your loss, but dedicating this milestone to her memory is a touching and wonderful gesture. Take care. :-) --Durano, done!
Hi Brad...thank you for your touching comment...it's hard to believe that it's almost 5 years since she's gone...she's in my heart and I do have a good relationship w/ her son, who is 19...so, that's a really, really good thing...all the best to you!
