Isn't it funny how something we usually consider to be invasive and unattractive can turn out to be so beautiful when captured just so! I love your swirly weeds, Amy!

amazing patterns Amy....
it has quite the abstract feel to it :)
this would translate really well in black and white too...

Tammy, those weeds popped up around a lilac bush that we planted, and they are so pretty to me, I didn't want to pull them out...I also knew that @ some point I was going take some pics of them from standing above...

Kim, I thought that this is something that I might love to draw w/ all the beautiful swirls and intricate patterns...OR that it might just flow out of me if I were to sit down and let it flow...I will definitely give it a whirl in B&W...once the rain stops!!!...great suggestion...

Hillary, swirly and pretty...agreed!!!

The weeds make for an amazing photo...I agree with Kim, black and white would be great as well...

I'm a huge fan of abstracts...I love your interpretation!!

Cheers

I like how you captured the "swirly weeds". My friend has some of that in her yard and I thought it would make a nice photo, but I guess I better stick to chipmunks and stuffed bears, because yours turned out much better!

mee...yes, very swirly...if they weren't so brittle (yet soft), the kitty's would have a great toy!!!

Heather, I've been eying these weeds for weeks...and then the moment hit...if the sun stays out today, I'll give it a whirl in B&W...

Well thank you Miss Jennie...but, shoot away...I do love those chipmunks and the cross-dressing bear was a great post!!!!

My first thought was that those look like the swirly dead endings of the climbing flowers, clematis!

Beautiful work Amy :-)
