With a background in Fine Arts, my eye is well trained to notice the smallest of details. Photography is a passion. With the advent of the digital age, I use that same trained eye through the monitor of my digital camera, from macro shots to sweeping landscapes while enjoying the full range of editing.

oh how wonderful Amy!!
I see gorgeous spring/summer blooms!!
haha even your palettes are creative ..mine usually end up looking like muddy messes :(
these would make wonderful cards :)
your pearl earrings are absolutely divine too..
going over to check them out at your shop ;)
have a lovely day Amy :))
Just one word...beautiful!
I have had this palette for at least 20 years...and it was not until Tuesday, when I found it, that I thought about reproducing it into cards, etc...I guess, timing is everything...:)))
The earrings, like I said to Heather, are 'kinda' sexy...for a person who loves a good dangle...that baroque cut crystal, gets me every time...
Edward is home from school for the weekend...I've got the fridg stocked to the brim...it will be all gone by the time he leaves on Sunday AM... he is like a field of locusts, eating everything in their path...have a lovely day as well dear dear Kim...:)))
Thank you so much MommyKennedy!!!!
Amy I love it!! It makes me think of a glorious field of bright and lovely poppies!!
It's beautiful!! I started out working in acrylics and got pretty good.
Then I tried oil because Walter wanted me too. Well needless to say I fell in love with the ease and forgiveness of oil.
When I start back next month I am thinking of giving water color a go also!!
I can only dream to be this good...awesome job...so glad you found it!!
Oh it would make an awesome card!!! Go for it!!
Hugs,
Jackie:-)
sweet! are you going to peel it off? It's almost as much fun as popping bubble wrap in my books LOL
Love the colors in this! Beautiful.
Jackie, really, the fun part is that it's the underside...so, when painting some 'serious' stuff, this gift arrived, much to my surprise. I'm so happy that you are dabbling...have fun w/ it...I can hear the joy in your words, and the love of the act of painting...can't wait to see what you come up w/...:)))...yup, cards, for sure!! Have a great weekend!
Christy Gal, I used a clear piece of acrylic as my palette, so peeling is not an option...I should take photos of the 'rough side up', as well...but, oh , I can sense the fun in the act of peeling...lol...
Thank you so much Stacie!
Christy Gal, read you comment on Jimmy's blog...so glad you took a look/see...:)))
What a wonderful color combination Amy...it would look wonderful as a card...just noticed that was mentioned a few times already...it looks as though we all know a great idea when we see it!! :0)
I didn't realize we where commenting at the same time, but we do get around don't we!! :0)
Cheers
