We have also seen a colorful autumn, albeit, somewhat late, because of the brutally hot summer we just experienced.
The bottom 4 photos are from the Stillhouse and Pawtuxet Coves, respectively. New England 'charming', at it's best!!
With a background in Fine Arts, my eye is well trained to notice the smallest of details. Photography is a passion. With the advent of the digital age, I use that same trained eye through the monitor of my digital camera, from macro shots to sweeping landscapes while enjoying the full range of editing.

It WAS a gorgeous day, wasn't it?! We had homecoming at Narragansett, so I didn't get to the beach- would have LOVED to, I need a sea glass hunting fix, lol! So glad you got out and enjoyed the day! :)
Thank you Heather...we have always managed to live near the water...be it the Hudson River in Manhattan, the Long Island Sound and Orchard Beach and now we live in the 'Ocean State'...and the 'Coves' in the pics are part of our everyday life...I too find great peace being near the water...cards in the making...MAYBE!!!...XXXXXXX
Oh Tara...it really was something...and the personality soooo different than the summer...we didn't feel like we had a proper 'good-bye' @ the end of the season, so this Saturday settled that for us...we even ate outside @ the Matunuck Oyster Bar, and were laughing that in an hour it would be dark out...LOL!!!!
