Vintage Aquamarine Dangle

These 1940's vintage aquamarine dangle earrings are re-vamped from a bracelet! I found them at Antique Haven, in Pawtuxet Village and they were simply calling my name!Built like Ft. Knox, the old jewelry is a challenge to separate. These were no different, however, the results are this classic pair of earrings. The stones are sky blue with amazing depth. The links are simple and elegant. They are custom made to face forward so that you can see them along with all of your admirers! They are 2 1/4" long, with the 14k gold filled hook. The width of the frame with the stone is 1/2' wide and high. You can find them in my Etsy shop, Lilleypad.

Be-dazzled!

The Holidays, Chanukah and Christmas are creeping into everybody's mind...especially those of us who sell our arts and handmade crafts. I have 2 new offerings which will dazzle and garner attention!!

Check out these gorgeous, 'Aqua CZ Dangle', 5, 6mm aquamarine cubic zirconia briolettes, separated by gold filled vermeil nuggets on a 24 gauge wire. Finishing up the circle on either side are 2, 4mm pale, VERY pale aquamarine bi-cone Swarovski crystals.

For a second offering, 'Go Green' CZ' I have delicately hung from a 7mm connective hoop, 5 gorgeous, 6mm olivine green cubic zirconia briolettes are separated by gold filled vermeil nuggets on a 24 gauge wire. Finishing up this circle on either side are 4, 3mm olivine green bi-cone Swarovski crystals...they are tiny, tiny...and this circle is now complete.

These are, 1" wide, or the exact size of an American quarter. With the 14k gold filled hook, they are 1 1/2" in length. Very light weight, but with a stunning sparkle. Sure to dress up any outfit. There is a definite left and a right, so that these earrings face forward. Check them out in my Etsy and ArtFire shops!

These earrings are FUN....they move freely and are a great accent to any summer outfit! Contemporary, light in weight, 2" in length with the 14K gold filled hook. They are $35 each. Check these beauties out, and more in my Etsy shop!

Small, but...

These 2 pair of earrings are some of my favorites. They are the size of an American nickel and just a hair larger than a penny! I'm stuck on this glorious champagne gold cubic zirconia color. They are so elegant. The other pair are garnet red (vs. deep, deep red) cubic zirconia briolettes. These baubles are very delicate. There are 5, 6x6 mm CZ briolettes, each separated by a gold vermeil nugget on a 28 gauge wire. The sparkle from the CZ is unmatched! There is a definite left and a right so that these lovely, full earrings face forward. 1 1/2" in length with the hook. They're small, but striking. Check them out in my Etsy shop.

The Puzzle....

And here they are...my latest group of earrings....WHAT...well, this is what it all looks like before the many, many pieces of the puzzle come together! Sometimes the hardest part is just sitting down and making them...oh, you know what I'm talking about! I see some lovely baubles coming out of this batch of goodies. I have some very delicate chain, which I have envisioned using, along with the thousand other pieces I have sitting on my jewelry table....as they say, I'll keep you posted!

It's new to me....

This is my third attempt at posting, no laughing please...this is new territory right now, although, I'm certain that in time blogging will become second nature. I am trying to get the pictures smaller, and things lined up the way I want, there are links and other 'things' I have to do to show off all the great artists I've met on Etsy. But, all of that, in time. For right now, I have to thank my friend in Pune, India, Siddharth Dawara for getting me going on this and for helping me out along the way. He posted a beautiful write up on his blog this morning:
Thank you Sid, you are a true prince among men!
I am going to be published in the Etsy 'Handbook to Handmade', Volume 3 coming out in a matter of days. The earrings posted here are on the cover. I am published with 35 other talented artists from all over the US and the UK. I have a 2 page spread with 3 or 4 pictures. The book is coffee table gorgeous. A very big round of applause goes to Timothy Adam for his boundless energy, vision and enthusiasm for putting together the first 3 Volumes. As of earlier today, the 35 slots for Volume 4 were filled!. I know that he is already thinking about, Volume 5, 6, 7.....
So, check out my shop on Etsy:
It's a new frontier.....
