Falling Leaf

These gold vermeil leaves are a stand-out as they hang from a sleek gold vermeil stem, with gold vermeil nuggets for accent. I can just see them with your favorite Fall outfit! At their widest point, the leaves are 3/8' across, 1 3/4" long including the stem. Add the 22k gold filled hook, they will dangle at 2 3/8". Lightweight. Should be kept in plastic jewelry bag or box for preservation.

Treasures!!!

I went to the 'Whole Bead Show' in Providence on Saturday. My jewelry making has been on the back burner for many months now, with all the time I have spent @ the farmer's market selling the cards and framed photos. So, it was somewhat refreshing to be buying some jewelry making goodies. This is where I buy my vermeil components. Amazingly, I can be in and out of there in no time. However, some gorgeous semi-precious stones really caught my eye and I did spend some time drooling over their beauty and dreaming of what I could make with them.

The top photo is what I bought. As for the semi-precious stones, well, this girl is dreaming....

These earrings are FUN....they move freely and are a great accent to any summer outfit! Hanging from this gold vermeil hoop, 5/8" ( a hair smaller than the size of an American quarter) in diameter is a stunning, light colorado (top) and amethyst (bottom) Swarovski 16 x11 mm Baroque cut crystal, accented with 2 gold vermeil nuggets sandwiching a 4mm bi-cone Swarovski crystal. Contemporary, light in weight, 2" in length with the 14K gold filled hook. They are $35 each. Check these beauties out, and more in my Etsy shop!

A New Bauble From 'The Puzzle'

I call these lovely baubles, 'Modern Victorian'. I was drawn to the beautiful gold vermeil component. Sometimes, I think that I was born in the wrong era. I love so much of the 'old stuff', antiques, Victorian houses and doorknobs, the exquisite details of days gone by. However, I am aware that we all have different tastes, and that is one lesson I have WELL learned when creating jewelry. So, in this case, with these earrings, the mix of the sleek, simple, strong stem,
mixed with the very detailed vermeil component is a beautiful blend of old and new...hence, 'Modern Victorian'. I am delighted to say that I have my first on-line interview posted today with Raquel Roysdon from Divapreneur. Click here
